A culinary journey at EPCOT festival

The 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom. It offers a wonderful mix of beautiful gardens, character topiaries, and delectable eats. We ventured through the festival to sample every food booth.

We wanted to share our honest thoughts on the offerings. The Bauernmarkt booth in Germany continues to delight. It has one of the festival favorites: the Toasted Pretzel Bread.

It is topped with Black Forest ham and melted cheese. The soft pretzel bread is crisp on the outside. The savory ham and cheese combination won us over yet again.

The Potato Pancakes are offered in two versions. There is a plant-based one with house-made applesauce. The classic ham and onion variant is also available.

Both were hits. The applesauce provided a surprising but pleasant pairing. The sour cream-topped ham version balanced sweet and salty flavors well.

The Warm Cheese Strudel with Berry Compote is a delightful, tart dessert. It features flaky pastry that encloses sweet cheese. Drink highlights included the Apfelschaumwein cocktail.

It blends Apple Sparkling Wine and Apple Liqueur. There is also a beer selection with the option of a Beer Flight. It comprises Bitburger Premium Pils, Stiegl Brewery Raspberry Radler, and Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier.

The Seafood Bake at Beach Grub is an impressive dish. It has shrimp, mussels, clams, andouille sausage, red potatoes, and corn. They are in a light yet rich white wine broth.

Despite some mishaps like missing grilled sourdough, the dish’s flavors stood out. The Grilled Street Corn on the Cob remains a favorite. It is a plant-based dish.

culinary highlights from EPCOT festival

It is thanks to its flavorful cheese and garlic spread. The S’mores Bar is a delightful, albeit messy, dessert.

It has dark chocolate, toasted meringue, and smoked graham cracker crumbles. Coconut Water is available with or without Siesta Key Toasted Coconut Rum. It was refreshing but not too exciting.

At Brunchcot, the Avocado Toast features marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles over ciabatta bread. It is delicious, though it could benefit from an acidic touch like balsamic vinegar. The Biscuit and Gravy features IMPOSSIBLE Sausage with pepper jelly.

This dish was tasty but could use more gravy. The Shrimp and Grits has blackened shrimp with cheddar grits, brown gravy, and sweet corn salsa. The dish had a mild heat.

The combination of flavors was well-balanced. The Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites are topped with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon. These bites were sweet, salty, and extremely satisfying.

The Fruit Cereal Shake is vanilla soft-serve with fruit-flavored breakfast cereal. It is a fun treat, especially for kids. The Peach Bellini is sparkling wine with peach puree.

While tasty, it lacked a strong peach flavor. The 3 Daughters Brewing Coffee Blonde Ale combines coffee aroma with beer. This drink offered a dry, carbonated finish, reminiscent of cold coffee.

The Citrus Blossom’s Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp is a returning favorite. It has perfectly cooked shrimp coated in a crunchy batter and flavorful orange-chili sauce. The Citrus-baked Brie is paired with orange-lemon marmalade, limoncello-macerated blueberries, and spiced Marcona almonds.

This dish was rich and delightfully balanced. The 2025 EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival provided a wonderful culinary journey. Its varying booths each presented unique and flavorful dishes that celebrate the season.
