HBO has announced more cast members for its upcoming Harry Potter TV series adaptation. The new additions include Katherine Parkinson as Molly Weasley, Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy, Johnny Flynn as Lucius Malfoy, Leo Earley as Seamus Finnigan, Alessia Leoni as Parvati Patil, and Sienna Moosah as Lavender Brown. Bel Powley and Daniel Rigby will portray Harry’s aunt and uncle, Petunia and Vernon Dursley.
“The Crown” star Bertie Carvel is set to join the cast as Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic. These actors join the previously announced cast, which includes Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Professor McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Professor Snape, Nick Frost as Hagrid, Luke Thallon as Professor Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse as Argus Filch.

HBO plans to adapt each of J.K. Rowling’s seven novels into a season of television. The series aims to capture the magic of the original stories while introducing the world of Hogwarts to a new generation of fans. In a statement, HBO expressed its dedication to a faithful adaptation of the iconic book series.
