Paul Feig has responded to rumors about Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively not getting along on the set of “Another Simple Favor.” The film premiered at SXSW on Friday and will be released on Amazon Prime Video on May 1. A Twitter account linked to Melanie King shared a picture of the cast and suggested that Blake was afraid to walk the red carpet because Anna was angry and “never wants to work with her again.” Paul Feig quickly stepped in and said, “Um … you’re wrong.”

Blake Lively made her first public remarks since her involvement in “It Ends with Us” at the premiere.

She said, “I love this character so much.

Blake and Anna debunk feud rumors

It’s probably my favorite character I’ve ever been fortunate enough to play.

So when Paul asked us to come back, I was so excited.”

Paul Feig has had to dispel rumors about the film repeatedly this year. In January, he addressed claims that the film was shelved indefinitely, and last month he defended Blake from online criticisms. It seems the speculation and rumors about Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively’s relationship are unfounded, according to Paul Feig.

We’ll probably hear more about this as the release date approaches, but for now, it looks like there’s no bad blood between the film’s stars.
