Premium formats made up 47% of the business. IMAX contributed $3 million, or 16% of the domestic total. The film did particularly well in major markets like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and Washington DC.

“Mickey 17” received favorable but moderate reviews. It has a 79% critical rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 73% audience rating. CinemaScore gave it a “B” grade.

PostTrak showed 4 stars and a 63% definite recommend. Internationally, the film brought in $24.5 million. It launched last week in Korea.
MICKEY 17 was something of a disappointment.

The global total now stands at $53.3 million. The top international markets were Korea with $14.6 million, France with $2.9 million, and the UK with $2.7 million.
Mickey 17 meets industry expectations
Vertical’s post-apocalyptic action flick “In the Lost Lands” grossed $1.043 million on 1,370 screens. It stars Dave Bautista and Milla Jovovich. The film received poor reviews with a 17% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 47% audience score.
Marvel’s “Captain America: Brave New World” dropped to second place. It pulled in $8.5 million, bringing its domestic total to $176.58 million. The global tally is now $370.78 million.
“Rule Breakers,” a drama about women’s education in Afghanistan, earned $1.59 million on 2,044 screens. It received an “A” CinemaScore. Universal’s “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy” recently opened in Japan to $3.7 million.
Its global total is now $103.8 million. A Chinese animated film surpassed “Avengers: Infinity War” with $2.052 billion. This makes it the sixth highest grossing movie worldwide.
The total domestic box office this weekend was $55.7 million. This is down 59.1% compared to the same weekend in 2024. The lineup reflects a mix of genres and international appeal, showing current audience trends.
