In a thrilling match at WWE Night of Champions 2025, Rhea Ripley faced off against Raquel Rodriguez in an intense street fight. This marked Ripley’s first time competing in this chaotic match type. The match began with Rodriguez trapping Ripley in the ropes.
She then hit Ripley with a series of kendo stick strikes. Rodriguez tried to hit Ripley with a chair, but Ripley countered. She kicked the chair into Rodriguez’s face, allowing Ripley to break free.

Outside the ring, Ripley took the top portion of the Arabic commentary desk. She draped it over the barricades. However, before she could use it to her advantage, Rodriguez powerbombed her through the makeshift structure.

Rodriguez then set up a table in the corner of the ring. She also placed the ring steps on the apron. She attempted to send Ripley into the steel steps, but Ripley reversed the move.
This sent Rodriguez face-first into the steel.
Ripley overcomes intense street fight
Ripley then took off her belt and whipped Rodriguez with it.
She followed up with a Razor’s Edge back in the ring. Ripley seemed to gain control with a submission hold. However, Roxanne Perez interfered, distracting Ripley and giving Rodriguez a break.
Ripley quickly neutralized Perez by placing a trash can over her. She then delivered a dropkick to the trash can. Rodriguez fought back, sending Ripley shoulder-first into the ring post and then into the stairs.
Nonetheless, Ripley countered. She sent Rodriguez crashing into the table set up in the corner of the ring. Climbing to the top rope, Ripley executed her finisher, the Riptide, off the table to secure the victory.
Despite the interference from Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley emerged victorious. Her triumph in her first WWE street fight showcased her toughness and ability to overcome the numbers game. The win cements her status as one of WWE’s top stars.
